The Odysseus

The sea is everything
My voyage was grueling
But life-giving
An odyssey through the wilderness
Yet, I was never lonely
And I knew
The cycle would be soon completed

First day try-out of The Odysseus"

Back in those days, before extinction
When the world was not yet home
Terrified by the reign of your fake pleasures
There was a man who felt he could explode
Eaten alive by fierce, blood-green-eyed chimera
Otis Barton fed himself to the ocean

Through exploring this endless universe
Lost, he found his way
Another plain to wage his war

To survive in this abysmal realm and sink
Where your own faith won't blaze
From the coast
The horizon just seems to be a ghostly flag
Of bygone times

A vile and vicious lie

The nature of self, brothers let's discuss!
Ancient question wail, conjure up disorder
Sorrow, revenge, was all he thought about
Locked up in a memory that punched him cold and numb

Through exploring this endless universe
Lost, he found his way
Another silent plain

The hefty crown of remembrance had made him its helpless slave
Experience prevailed
Experience prevailed smothering the present
Ceaselessly mourning for his unborn future
