Dead Roses

Why cant you see,
All life is poetry
There's beauty in the suffering
This is just a lesson in how it's supposed to be.
I was left hopeless,
To look at the scars
Now all thats left...
Now all thats left are roses
Hanging upon my wall
Dead roses
They whisper in image of all the love lost
And as I release them from their suspension
They whisper to me an invaluable lesson

"You were so young and naive trying to steal these flowers from the
sun. Not nearly wise enough to see the kind of damage you had done.
You hung them up like trophies,
watched them whither up, die, and crystalize.

You loved something so much you just let it die.

Love is not about suffocation.
Love is letting beauty breathe.
