Amongst Those Dead
As I entered the silent and vacant womb of eternity
She arose from the shadows like the dead to life
Pale white
Empty threats within her mind
Cheeks dead in blossoming rejection
With lips that look like poison drip from the edge of sanity
It was only then I knew reality had faded
Like the mist in my past torment
Into an array of dementia
My eyes opened once more
I was stranded in a desert-like world
The streets filled with archaic virtue and chaos
I walked and wept at the thought of solemn silence
And complete and utter serenity
'Twas only my solitude and myself amongst the dead
The hot, hard and grainy pavement 'neath my feet
Had laid me comfort that I was still real
The sun driven wild like a forest fire
Tested among the brink of humanity
I walked more and more just to find emptiness
My eyes opened once more
I was stranded in a desert-like world
The streets filled with archaic virtue and chaos
I walked and wept at the thought of solemn silence
And complete and utter serenity
'Twas only my solitude and myself amongst the dead
Though I was walking through a plagued world
Where nothingness was existence
And though walking never had brought me to edge
Of the unknown one that has brought me to consistence
Only one thing remained seldom in my mind
Her
Who was she?
In my dreams where she laid so cadent among the rest of the world
I closed my eyes at the thought of her
Shutting them hard
My eyelids ready to implode from the pressure
And I released them
There she was
And there I was
It was all a dream
In the asylum I was sent to
Where she was the one to lead me out
In my mind
Despaired with darkness
While I'm shutting my eyes at the broken injections of mental lividity
The mental debility
The mental obscurity
And mental avidity
My eyes opened once more
I was stranded in a desert-like world
The streets filled with archaic virtue and chaos
I walked and wept at the thought of solemn silence
And complete and utter serenity
'Twas only my solitude and myself amongst the dead
It was her (In the vast obscure silence left in my mind)
It was her (I remembered her face)
It was her (The entire darkness inside me)
It was her (I remember her face)
(As I entered the silent and vacant womb of eternity
She arose from the shadows like the dead to life)
She arose from the shadows like the dead to life
Pale white
Empty threats within her mind
Cheeks dead in blossoming rejection
With lips that look like poison drip from the edge of sanity
