Unicycle (Water Cycle)

Dont you know that
Dont you know that things go in cycles
Dont you know that things go in cycles
Dont you know that
Dont you know that things go in cycles
Dont you know that things go in cycles

Im that first little raindrop that falls from the sky
My life seems to be a riddle and I fall and wonder why
Ive been pulled from my gaseous existence in the clouds
To hear the cackle like crackle of the thunder rumble loud
Born from storm destined to reach the ground with a thud
My first contribution shall be mud
In shallow muddy puddles we love to huddle around
Until a humanoid hand will choose to lift us from the ground
And place us in a bowl, mixed with broken sticks
Form rectangular shapes and dub us adobe bricks
Water to mud
Mud to brick
Brick to wall
A wall becomes a shelter that'll stand strong and tall
And all I wanted was to stay a shelter and remain
And stand tall we all did til we met big bad hurricane
It huffed and puffed and blew us all to smithereens
Then we joined with lots of other drops
And gave birth to a stream
I was serene as stream
My soul eased and placid
Then serene stream transformed to roaring rapids
Roaring rapids roared
Then abruptly slowed to a crawl
And hit the impossible obstacle, another wall
Damn!
Yeah I think thats what its called
And the plan was to escape break it all and watch it fall
And I was that first drop to slip through the rock
And carve a path to be followed
Cant stop our plot
They say dont look back
But I glanced from the other side of the crack
And caught a glimpse of the damn as it cracked and collapsed
Now, whats my fate?
To evaporate
And return to the sky from which i came with no debate
The end and the beginning
They are somewhat parallel
A swell life cycle, endless relentless carousel
Endless relentless carousel
Endless relentless carousel

Dont you know that
Dont you know that things go in cycles
Dont you know that things go in cycles
Dont you know that
Dont you know that things go in cycles
Dont you know that things go in cycles
Dont you know that
Dont you know that things go in cycles
Dont you know that things go in cycles
Dont you know that
Dont you know that things go in cycles
Dont you know that things go in cycles
