Menemsha Moon
Under the shadows of the sweet Menemsha moonlight
Slowly we dance and feel the sand beneath our feet
Sheltered by starlight reaching all the way to London
Life is complete...
And for a moment in this Massachussetts Island
Just like the ocean, we are infinite and strong
There are no questions we are simply like the sea waves
Rolling along
No where to go except each other's arms
No where to hide except the inside of your shoulder
We walked the shore and talk about endless summers by the sea
And how we'll bring the children when we're older
Won't you forgive me if I tell the same old story
For me the summers always over much too soon
I've seen the Cape Cod fog appear
But love is always crystal clear
Under the shadows of the sweet Menemsha Moon.
No where to go except each others arms
No where to hide except the inside of your shoulder
We walked the shore and talk of endless summers by the sea
And how we'll bring the children when we're older
Won't you forgive me if I tell the same old story
For me the summers always over much too soon
I've seen the Cape Cod fog appear but love is always crystal clear
Under the shadows of the sweet Menemsha Moon...
