I done been down without a job.
And I done been solo when they had a squad.
It was hard, yea it was hard.
So I put my faith in God cause he didnt leave me when the times got hard.
From trial and tribulations I done gain so many scars.
Had the world right under my nose while I was out here chasing stars.
I was a lost soul, lost soul and I didn't know which way to go, I'm thankful cause only lord knows.
Now I wake up with this gratitude thankful for the attitude.
The lord will lift you up to a whole new altitude.
See only God can judge you ain't nobody in yo shoes.
Tell me who be there for you even when you go and lose.
(No I can't worry about the rain cause a storm never last.
No I can't worry about the storm cause I know that it'll pass.
See I put my God 1st so I wouldn't be last.
Just look at what he done and you'll see it when you ask.)

Cause If I won't help myself how he gone help me get in motion.
I know I'm not perfect I can't say I'm living right.
And my granny always told me that I need to find Christ.
Cause he blessed me with a gift with these words in know I'm nice.
I just opened up so he could show out in my life.
