Fireflies

The longest speech in
the smallest amount of breath:
the cry
Big steps will conquer this
almost weaved in delight:
the lie
Still there is yet to come
the frontrow seats to the newest song:
the rise
Searching hides to hide
igniting fireflies:
the might

Now I know the road is long

All out of storage space
Return to sender
curse this place and air
The build of bridges form
a comfort scape, a brighter dawn
but they lead nowhere
Still there is yet to come
a concert hall projected wrong
-applause
Searching spots to light
whenever fire flies
(that's) the might

I might loose some sense
I might break the tense
there's no new commence
when the track is stuck in vengance

I might walk it alone
but the road is home

I might rule the bends
I might move the fence
no road really ends
if vengance's conceived in absence

I might walk all alone
I might get there when it's gone
