The Breathing Fire

To halt the freeze of night
Green canopy, bright sigh
Discovery begun

Below the surface top
Soft layer, long season small
This covering warm sun

Green mountain peak, so hard to see
Green summit sweep, so far from Cedar Heights

The breathing fire in heavy sigh
The silent time before the eyes
Tree rings say, "Nice decay."

Tall silent dripping trees
It's humid near Wet Sea
Find bright display of birds

To change appearance breeze on thousand quaking leaves
Lush forest of the slope

Green mountain peak, so hard to see
Green summit sweep, so far from Cedar Heights

The breathing fire in heavy sigh
The silent time before the eyes
Tree rings say, "Nice decay."

Dig the roots in sand and mangrove shy
Unseen Land found here beneath bright sky
