Now you might laugh and say I'm just the foolish kind
I guess I'm not as practical as you
Laugh all you want and be assured that I won't mind
It takes a foolish mind to do the things I do.

All day long I sit around a wishing well
Through tears I see a blurry red-stained hue

I'm tossing all my pennies very carefully
