Evolution (Interlude)
the process by which different kinds of living organisms are
thought to have developed and diversified from earlier forms
during the history of the earth
The gradual development of something, especially from a
simple to a more complex form.
Evolution
My evolution, is therapeutic, I prepare the music for you to
hear it love it, your mind, you lose it
From the cynical lyrical criminal, all you hear are my spiritual
cries, the death defying I've been giving you
I had to start my art from heart to heart to end up with a cart
of rhymes to ease my mind so I can shine, while the thoughts
are racing in my mind,
I'm blind to the hatred, putrid, games in music that these
people play, and they rape the students
Of their future, but I know some people personally who will
assault you physically or verbally
I'm no snitch so I don't see, anything around me, I'm myself,
I'm mine to be anything I wanna be, whether an MC, get a
degree. Be whatever you're supposed to be. Don't be the
scum that people hate to see, if you're a cop, no need to beat,
up in these streets, because in time youll see for yourselves
that I'll do my time in this jail that I call my mind, I just rhymed
the same word twice, what the fuck is my place in this game is
what I say to myself until I claim the fame I rack my brain and
play these games and get the names of all these random fans,
I call em my stans as they stand for the lower class, who bust
their ass, starting from the bottom til they're through the glass
ceiling, got em feeling on top if the world, whether you're black
or white or a boy or girl, it doesn't matter
Because
Were in it together, we need to stand up and fight, get each
others backs, and wrong the rights, stand for the light and for
the truth while were in the booth of life its what we call our music,
which is therapeutic for our evolution
thought to have developed and diversified from earlier forms
