I Count My Blessings

There's so many weeks that we can't afford steak,
But we've always got something good on our plates,
And I count my blessings...

This ain't no mansion it's a house in a yard,
It keeps out the rain if it don't rain real hard,
And I count my blessings...

I count on my fingers the real friends I have,
I count on the good times outweighing the bad,
And I count on my faith that someday I'll figure out,
While there are so many who don't have a blessing to count.

The weekend comes round and we kinda get bored,

But pizza and movies are what we can afford,
And I count my blessings...

I've got a job and it won't make me rich,
My friends who were laid off would look to have it,
And I count my blessings...

I count on my woman for love everyday,
And I count my kids for a smile on my face,
And I count on my faith that someday I'll figure out...
While there's those who have plenty and those who have some,
But there's just too many of those who have none,
And I count on my faith that someday I'll figure out,
While there are so many who don't have a blessing to count.
