Taxi Driver

I made my way to the taxi to go drive around
it was late night glasgow
feeling reluctant cause I'm not into meaningless small talk
Please, no, thank you!
He talks about calton
the man die at 50
He says it's the drugs, the crime and the whiskey
A small buddha stands on his dashboard,
He winks points it out, his loyal protector

I spent some time with a taxi driver
Some peace of mind is all he've ever wanted
I've never met such a taxi driver, his choices is clear
no reason to be daunted

I'm in the car still driving around
the meter keeps running almost downtown
the driver smiles, he says he's blessed
peace at his mind not like the rest
he says I'm a buddhist 'cause I like people
don't care where they com from we're all equal
if more people learn to love and accept
things will get better and people connect

I spent some time with a taxi driver
Some peace of mind is all he've ever wanted
I've never met such a taxi driver, his choices is clear
no reason to be daunted

He knows he can't change his world
but
he can't change the way he feels it

He knows he can't change his world
but
he can't change the way he sees it
