Introspection

Look through my cornea
and tell me what I see is real.
Impossible to project what the eyes can't rationally feel.
The heart emits what it wants.

What it wants us to touch.
And sight's just an extension
of our desires and lust.

Careful who you trust.

The ego sides with you
but it has motives of its own.
It's sad to say
that you're only safe when you're alone.
You can escape the torment,
embrace the silence inside.
Where dreams go to live
and fear, fear goes to die.

Fight to regain sense of control.
Its the simplest things in life
that weigh us down the most.

Fix your eyes on the imaginary line.
It's blurred now
because existence erases
the difference between

Calm down.
Slower, real slow.
Take a risk, risk it all.
What are you afraid of?
Afraid to fall?
But when the leaves change,

is it not beautiful at all?
Look within.
Not without.
And cast away
every moment of doubt.

One day wisdom will seem greater than anything we condone.
Anything we let pass.
Too many things,
too many things are left behind.
In the deathbed of all dreams,
lies a deep whisper.
A voice that vibrates infinitely small.
I want what I want
and I don't know why.
Can science explain that to me?
Can anybody explain that to me?
I asked God once,
but now he seems so obsolete.
What is there left to believe?
Pursuit?
