Armor

I woke up with a blessing, I look straight to the heavens
Said I could feel that holy presence telling us to raise our weapons
I said all of this aggression ain't the way to spread a message
Time and time the world is testing all of these outdated methods
I'm just trying to raise the bar
Yeah, we know those time are hard
We all divided we can't let the media tear us apart
I tell ya it's time to give some heart
Be the people that can spark
The world that can change the way we living, man it's time to leave a mark
That's for Christians and Muslims and anybody of color
Who feels mistreated on my single parents, couples and lovers
It's time to put your weapons down and stop killing each other
You are not black and I'm not white you're just my sisters and brothers

We don't have to act like everything's all right
I know what you've been through, I know that you're not fine

I know it's been a long day, it's all gone the wrong way

I look around and it ain't hard to tell the world that it's at its tipping point
This generation it could change it all with just a different point of view
An opportunity to go and make a difference choice and bring the world together
Man, It's time to hear a different voice
Cause all that's on your TV is a bunch of visions
They try to turn us on eachother, we've been stuck in this rhythm
I'm trying to show the world that it ain't hard to get out of the prison
That's leading us to the end, I got these different visions
Where people don't judge others based on only religion
A world where people don't see color as a sign of suspicion
A place united as a world where everybody is living
And if you look to your left that person wouldn't be different
