The Speech About the Sprinkler System

All right the sprinkler system man is strictly about a sprinkler
system, you've got the water hose,
you got the faucet, and you got the water head.
Now this is about the drug trade,
first off America uses sixty to
seventy percent of the world's cocaine.
So if you're getting locked up in the game and all this other stuff,
I hope you realize that you know it's not
just because you want the dope in your hood.
It was there before you got there and will be there when you're gone.
Now, am not no poppy fields in America, no poppy fields here!
They are in Columbia and other countries like
that, you turn the faucet on over there right?
The doggone Government is the water hose,
shielding all the way up into your hood, right?
And then they get somebody like me or somebody else to be a little
sprinkler head and distribute all in the
neighborhood, you know, just wetting everybody.
The catch of it is, it's like,
when the sprinkler head gets old and rusty,
tired of seeing you shine with the
gold grill, and all that other stuff.
They take the sprinkler head off,
drop you in a bucket called a prison,
and then they put a new sprinkler head up there.
They spend all this money on this
and on that, and all this other stuff.
Go in the country,
Vietnam they spent fifth teen years over there, this and that.
They say they wanted to stop drugs,
and they didn't want our children being killed,
and all that other stuff, but that's a big lie!
Ain't no bombs been dropped in the name of Cocaine,
it's right here on every block, you know what I'm saying?
Anytime you can get crack cocaine easier than you
can get a beer, you already know it's an epidemic!
But, they're not doing nothing about it,
they making money off you while you're serving this stuff!
They making money off you while you're
sitting in the prison, prison is on the stock market.
Now you know that wrong, you know what I'm saying,
and I got to do mad time and then somebody who put they money on the
stock market, making money off me sitting in a cell,
when they talking about "we been trying to get drugs off the
street", you are not been trying to get no drugs off the street.
If you can go to war at the drop of a hat because of this or that or
oil, or protect the south vitemanises from the north
vitemaneies you should have been dropping bombs about these drugs.
But I know what you're doing, I feel the game,
but I 'ma going to protect my dogs, I 'ma protect my dogs,
you won't be kicking in my door, I know what you're feeling.
I know what you're doing, I see it, it's cool!
But I want you to listen to this sprinkler system,
and I want you to feel it,
and listen to the words that I'm spitting to you.
They're more important than anything
else you're going to hear in your life.
It ain' that you running the game, the game getting ran on you.
When the buckets get filled up with water,
that's a prison, when it over flow they'll let a few out.
Now you get three dimes,
thirty-dollars' worth of crack get you five years.
But, they put it so accessible to you,
it's like putting a big o' candy store right in front of a child.
You get a chance to make the bread,
you're going to want to make the bread!
Especially if it's on every

Block, but don't lock up the people here,
because we aren't doing nothing about that.
Why don't you govern that crap before it gets here,
don't be govern my hood, don't be govern my dogs.
If you stopped it before it got over here,
you wouldn't have nothing to do, would you?
So how we feel that, and take that with you
