Well, his name is Joseph, her name is Mary
They're looking high and low
The time's running out and the inns are full
Is there any place left to go?

One last innkeeper points down the alleyway
"I can't give you no bed
The best I can do is offer to you
The hay in the animal shed"

There was no room for the Prince of Peace
No room for the Son of man
(No room) some gonna slam that door on Jesus
Some gonna take His hand

So what about you?
What about me?
Will you welcome in the King?
Or have you got no room?

Now bad king Herod met those wise men
The ones who came down from the East
Bad king Herod had a murderous plan
"When you find the King, tell me"

Wise men worshiped Jesus
But that night in a dream God said
"Hurry on down that road back home
King Herod wants Jesus dead"

He's got no room for the Prince of Peace
No room for the Son of man
(No room) some gonna slam that door on Jesus
Some gonna take His hand

Will you welcome in the King?

And now the proud and mighty said "no" to Jesus
While the poor and the lost said, "Yes"
He healed the sick and He raised the dead
With the power of God to bless
He suffered and died, then He rose to life
He said, "I'm comin' back again
Anyone now who's ashamed of Me
That day I'll be ashamed of them"

So make room for the Prince of Peace
Make room for the Son of man
(No room) don't go slammin' that door on Jesus
Trust Him while you can
