Somewhere

Somewhere.
That's where I'll be.
But it will be mine,
And I will be happy.

In my Somewhere
I feel the ocean,
Brought forth
By a swarm
Of purple birds.

Somewhere I am,
Dark, and repaired,
And I am ready. Now,
To lead the army forward
Toward the endless
Montana sky.

Somewhere there is someone,
And that someone is me.
I bathe in expansive
Lakes of purity.
I wash the regrets off
My tattered skin.
Somewhere, I do.

Nowhere,
I wrote him a letter.
Nowhere,
I bought him a book.

A goodbye.
A submersion.
An ending.

In Somewhere
The roads are endless,
And the trees are green.
Creatures walk the land.
Orange monsters
Illuminate the skies
There are vast fields
Of daisies.

And I pick one up.
And I capture its scent.
And it smells like
Somewhere.

Somewhere,
That's where we are,
Though I don't know
Who are. Yet.
You exist only
As a vision.
A royal blue canyon of:

And then you smile,
And I laugh too.

And somewhere,
I start myself over,
With you.

You are my future,
A sea as endless of my past.

Somewhere
I will not make
The water red.

Somewhere
I am new,
And he,

He will remain
Elsewhere.
And so will she.
One two-headed snake.

But I will be the Emperor
Of a land,
Similar to Eden,

A land called
Somewhere.
