Even Santa Needs A Break Sometimes

Well after Christmas time he heads to a warmer spot
He grabs a snorkel & fins and he checks out the reefs
He cuts back on cookies cause he's at the beach

Mrs. Claus comes too and she does yoga
And she sends "thank you" cards to the elves who work hard
To make Christmas toys for the girls and boys
But she doesn't miss any of the background noise of the toy shop

Because he works so hard on the night that he shines
He likes to have some fun just like everyone

Well in the spring time he plays himself a lot of golf
He hangs with the Easter bunny and helps the calendar arranging
Cause the date of Easter Sunday is always changing

He does video chats with home to check on things
And to make sure there's no fighting during reindeer games
And he updates the elves on the current trends
Because they're all back at work as soon as summer begins each year

One of his stops on Christmas Eve just might be your house
