Since I Left School

Time is a big boy taking all of my toys, don't accuse him of a lie
Now I'm twenty five, soon I won't be
I thought I'd end up alright
But I'm somewhere in between
People come and go but I'm still me
At least It's the same body
Though my backs begun to hunch and my eyes have learnt to scrunch

Since I left School sometime ago, I've tried my hand at all I know
And I've been left high, high and dry, high, high and dry
Why does Christmas always come round so fast?

Since I left school I've tried the
Trades but someone picked up a spade
And put my prospects in the shade so I went away
Being somebody else
Telling tales of tragedy
When will I be found out? Exiled to a proper bout?

Since I left School sometime ago, I've tried my hand at all I know
And I've been left high, high and dry, high, high and dry
Why does Christmas always come round so fast?

Always looking for cash but like a laugh it seems to go so fast
I don't enjoy it anymore and now I'm all out of Ideas
