Make My Move

All the theatrics with kisses have worn me to wishes.
My mind is like telephone lines, crystal clear in disconnected times.
I stand like a mannequin, afraid to say anything.
So when I take forever, I am somewhere in between.
When it falls away, was it worth the waiting here?
With all the things that I could say, I keep hesitating.
Why must I have to think things through?
Just take a breath and make my move.
Is this real?
I have to question if I am some sort of masochist, cutting through everything because when lights go down, everything city looks like a ghost town.
Alright with a sleepless night, colors change from black to white.
So when I take forever, I am somewhere in between.
When it falls away, was it worth the waiting here?
With all the things that I could say, I keep hesitating.
Why must I have to think things through?
Just take a breath and make my move.
Good things come to those who wait says the man who hesitates.
I won't suffer in silence, I will learn from my mistakes.
Life is about the moments, not their time and date so I'm going...
When it falls away, was it worth the waiting here?
With all the things that I could say, I keep hesitating. (
Was it worth the waiting hesitating?)
Why must I have to think things through?
Just take a breath and make my move.
