Mr. Stintman
He sat down by the station a quarter past
nine fully aware that the train will not come by
His face glowed under dim street lights as he looked all
around he was in a rush and kept looking for an unacquainted sound
For waiting in bitter agony the
reward was short but for a person in need
Mr. Stintman approaching his cold
shaking hand to bring him somewhere warm again
Mr. Stintman and his new friend were standing in the dark
because what Mr. Stintman was about to do would surely drive a spark
Mr. Stintman you cant deal with the crime
You cant move back or think to rewind
You're alright now feed him the chine
Just ask Mr. Stintman and he will gave you some time
He held a lighter and a cigarette and lit between his lips
as he murmured out "whats this all about?"
At this point the man began to shout
"Mr. Stintman you stole my life at bereft
now I'm tired and have so little time left."
The poor man began to cry and plead
"Mr. Stintman give me what I need."
Mr. Stintman laughed and agreed to the
request to put this mad mans mind at rest
He grabbed his shoulder and said amen with the
illusion that the boy is what the man was again
Mr. Stintman you cant deal with the crime
You cant move back or think to rewind
You're alright now feed him the chine
Just ask Mr. Stintman and he will gave you some time
That's what the man wanted but couldn't wear on his sleeve
Cause what the Stintman gave could never be received
Time is a tickin' and flying away,
not even the father could fix or delay
Trick the mad mans mind into thinking he had more time
knocking back and feeling so sublime
He said thank you joyfully and strolled on away
and the Stintman laughed cause he conned the mans grave
Watch the man swagger away unaware Mr. Stintman sat at the station
dressed in despair thinking about who he will deceive next
Just to give euphoric conjures to people truly hexed
Mr. Stintman you cant deal with the crime
You cant move back or think to rewind
You're alright now feed him the chine
Just ask Mr. Stintman and he will gave you some time
nine fully aware that the train will not come by
