Causality

The mind pulls the strings of the heart
Pulls the strings of the body
But whose hand clenches the strings of the mind
A note is struck and we resound accordingly
You don't have to see it
Or choose to believe it
But once seen, unseen no more
Are we really so naive to believe
Our thoughts and actions are truly our own?
Cause and effect, ones and zeros
Every choice merely an option
In and handpicked catechism
And selections are weighted to their benediction
We are tame and obtuse
Predilection and malevolence counseled to intent
All subsists as by design
We view from the pixel
Failing to behold the grand scheme
You don't have to see it
Or choose to believe it
But once seen, unseen no more
And once known, unknown no longer
An ignorance of eyes upon thee
Negates not their existence nor their motive
Keep clinging to the illusion of free will
Society is an orchestration
Your motives are predetermined
Tread atypical and be erased
Your space removed and replaced
Like fragmented data
Freedom is a virus and they are scanning
"Hyperion to a satyr"
We are only as free as cogs in the machine
