Mixture of sounds
Stuck in that moment I was waiting
While looking at the crowd fly away

But then I found
Between some common people you were
Standing around with a friend

Beautiful freckles, an eloquent smile
And a look with something special
One second paused for quite a while
You made feel like I was high

Then you looked at me with those
Mystery eyes I feel I've lost
Did reality just froze
Stolen glance at you, who knows

Differences attracted us
In the unknown we should trust
We both know this wasn't lust
Or something superfluous

I got to know
A complex person like you I
Have to say though, maybe I'm not enough

I wanted to show
You all the things I love in this world
But I was slow, I was lost, I'm still lost

Maybe we're not that much dissimilar
Though we've grown in different worlds
I wish that it would be much simpler
