Don't tell us your religion
Because you can easily discard these robes and find new
Ones when you please and still reach the same destination
As every religion has a snapshot of the same
Picture but at different angles at different times, so
What is your Faith?
Shall we become the Bodhi tree under which you attain enlightenment?
Shall we become the beacon of unity beckoning from Kabba,
Bringing an urge you have never felt so strongly before?
Shall we complete the cross and severe the ego?
'Cause I no longer exist as a single entity yet we are whole
We are the fear and awe that lock your hands into prayer as you gaze
Into the cosmic absolute form of
God as Lord Krishna unveiled to Arjuna
We are the vast blueness that forms the Ocean of Love
So come dive deep into your Faith
And realize we have never left your side
For We are You, and You are Faith
And we taught you how to live in the fire
From which you were born without being burnt
Just so you can live in the present
Let us exist as divine flames of love
Raising our torches high to dispel the darkness of all the noise
Because this journey is not meant to be easy
But it is meant to have meaning
To answer questions, to silence doubts, to bring about peace
Faith, they call us
And watch us in our most pious prayer
Even on the darkest of nights, remember that
This life is a blessing, no matter what Faith
For we are the eternal pulse
The rhythm that beats along in the depths of your silence
