Sunlight Receivers

What I've been given
'Aint what I've earned,
I get to walk up a street with strangers,
Without raising concern.

Been given fuel for ambition,
Man that aint stopping soon,
Told I had one way ticket to somewhere,
I could stop at the moon.

So who's on the look out,
Who's writing the book now,
Of who gets the warmth of the sun.
It's getting abrupt now,
Been faced with the know how,
Of ripples of damage been done.

Well who's on the look out,
Lets not get stuck in this book now,
'Cause the climax ain't good but it's close.
Can't run from the truth now,
It's slapping our face down,
Cause the sunlight receivers exposed

It's getting real warm now,
Don't think I need this free heat,
Lets, let the sun shine down on all who been fixed to cold streets.

And in my dark evenings,
When all is getting low,
That sun don't shine
But the dreams do carry for those with glow

Never did I think about who don't have, what I do.
Though we all lived under one big roof.
But time has told a story in a different way,
Seems I been exposed to some brighter days, than those of other ways.

So who's on the look out,
Who's writing the book now,
Of who gets the warmth of the sun.
It's getting abrupt now,
Been faced with the know how,
Of ripples of damage been done.
