Everybody Else

You want what you can't have,
And I need what I don't want,
Oh, and you like it when you got somethin' to complain about,
Yeah, and I get uneasy if there is any doubt,
Therefore, We are typical in our frame of mind,
Not takin' chances of any kind,
Evaluations running along the lines,
Of past experiences and friends advice, Just like everybody else.

I say the same thing every other day,
Like I'm feeling lonely, gotta get out and play,
I'm fundamentally not feeling strange,
It's gotta give, man it has got to change,
I'm like everybody else.

I'm not sayin' that you're average,
I don't think anybody knows what that is,
Yeah, but there are lines that I find myself within,
And nothing's leading out so I just don't know where to begin,

Now don't act like you can't see, This originality deficiency,
I turned on the TV just the other day,
Eat, walk, sleep, talk, dress and act the same, Just like everybody else.
