Starborn
This dirty mansion old and gray
Have once upon a time seen better days
The window now abide in gloom
There's no one living in these rooms
The masters left it long ago
Abandoned shadows dwell within its walls
This house have had its palmy days in joy
Once the girls would dance and sing
The boys played by the pool
It was a house of plenty
A pleasure to the eye
The golden age went by
Now gloomy shadows wanders through these rooms
Deserted to the dancing dust
And echoes of the past
From a house of plenty
Then something flickered by
The corner of my eye
I do not know his history
Or who this shape once was
His eyes looks sad drained on faith
He hovers just an inch or two
Above the dusty floor
A face so pale, with a hollow soul
He's reaching out his hand
Displays a golden coin
It's not important anymore
The old man told a tale of long ago
An age of wealth and prosperity
An age that soon would die
At the house of plenty
A pleasure to the eye
That golden age went by
This mansion old and gray
Have once upon a time
Seen better days
The masters left it long ago
Abandoned shadows dwell within its walls
No matter what all wealth can bring
In the end it do not mean a thing
If visions fade and hope decays
If future plans ideals bertay
You'd better you'd better watch out
For every house of plenty . . .
Have once upon a time seen better days
The window now abide in gloom
There's no one living in these rooms
The masters left it long ago
Abandoned shadows dwell within its walls
This house have had its palmy days in joy
