Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe
There was a time when I was a young lad, young boy
Anxious to become a man, a lion
Have a strong roar, feared and loved all at once
I'd be on stamps, post cards, and letters
Sent from the shores to the inlands, rain and sun
And make friends with giraffes
You know how tall they are they can see really far
Elephants have to have a good ear and nose I suppose
Cheetahs, take my post to high speeds
And of course I would need to laugh
So I would make friends with hyenas
Penguins I wish we had those, funny blokes I tell ya
Someone to comb my main too, sure can be ruffled
Take all my spices to the local hippo
Let him grind them with his big blocky teeth, ha what a hippo
Zimbabwe
Tasty caribou and antelopes, flesh of my flesh, flesh of their flesh,
Flesh of all
Zimbabwe is a African getaway I tell ya
Zimbabwe, African getaway
Come to Zimbabwe, my friend
