The Roads

Setting off on different roads
In altered states with heavy loads
I don't want to find I came
This far to see it's all the same
But if I do I'll have to change

The roads leading me astray
I'm not afraid of getting lost
Or paying my dues
It's worth the cost
If in the end I learn to find my way

Betting odds or secret codes
Ones and oughts in endless rows
It's hard to choose which path to take
I try to learn from each mistake
If I do I'll finally shake

The roads leading me astray
I'm not afraid of getting lost
Or paying my dues
It's worth the cost
If in the end I learn to find my way

Selling rights for other roles
Getting seen and getting sold
I don't want to find someday
I'm all alone and lost my way
Because I never chose to change

The roads leading me astray
I'm not afraid of getting lost
Or paying my dues
It's worth the cost
If in the end I learn to find my way
