Some Days, You Just Can't Get Rid of a Bomb!

Whenever I drive over a bridge
All I can imagine is
Taking a sharp turn to the right
And going for a swim

I am plagued by thoughts like this
Of bad ideas and mortal sins
But there is nothing I can do
No I can't suppress the din

I can't see a light at the end of the tunnel
And the batteries in my flashlight are dead
I hope things will look better tomorrow
But for now all these problems are just in my head

Sometimes I think happy thoughts
But they never come out right
And no one cares about your thoughts
They only care what you did that night

I see people all around
Fighting with the urge to pound
In their fucking skulls like me
When there's no one else around

They can't see the light at the end of the tunnel
And the batteries in their flashlights are dead
I hope things will look better tomorrow
But for now all these problems are just in their heads

So the next time you drive over a bridge
And all you can imagine is
Taking a sharp turn to the right
And going for a swim

When you are plagued by thoughts like this
Of bad ideas and mortal sins
Know that you are not alone
No you're not alone in this

When you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel
And the batteries in your flashlight are dead
I hope things will look brighter tomorrow
But for now all these problems are just in your head...
