The Tween

Once I saw a wood nymph, dancing amongst the fern
I followed her throught the wood, to see what I could learn
She ducked inside a tree, then she was watching me
I searched until the sun rose, much to no avail
You think that I may be daft, when I sing such a tale
You say that I was dreaming, toward madness I was leanin

I watch each night til the moon is full
But ne're do I see, no elf no nymph no fairy. Not one of the Eilee

I dance amongst the fern now, just hopin a glimpse I'll see
Of that elusive wood nymph or one of the Eilee
Every time I pass the tree, I feel her watching me
Tis been many seasons now since I had me escapade
Now I watch the tween dancin in joy through the glade
Toward madness i was leanin, I must have been a dreamin

I watch each night til the moon is full
But ne're do I see, no elf no nymph no fairy
Not one of the Eilee.

And in my madness, I dance, I twirl, I swirl

And now I lay upon my bed, me sight is growin dim
I close my eyes, then I open them again
In the stillness I see, the light through the glass
As I leave this mortal world behind, not thinkin of the past
Then I look into a pond and to my joy I see
I had become the wood nymph, just one of the Eilee

Now I dance each night when the moon is full
With laughter and glee
I am the lovely wood nymph
Just one of the Eilee
Happy now I'm Free
A beautiful fairy queen
