Who's to Blame?
Who's to blame is it me is it you?
Is it the people that think we are tools
Is it the people that think we are fools
Is it the people that use and abuse, their position of wealth
Their position of power tryna make money out of zero hours
Out of what's ours, what's ours?
What's mine what's yours? Nothing
Paying rent for everything we're touching
Owing debts for knowledge that we're seeking I'll be in trouble for the wisdom I am speaking
But they gave me a reason, a little was enough but I'm not really sure if we'll ever learn to love
But that's a second-hand emotion so it means
That my devotion is a notion that requires no commitment
We sold ourselves for money what do you expect, now the time has come to pay our debts
Cuz we a danger to the world but most of all ourselves, killing each other over our lack of wealth
And what do we gain from causing each other heartache and pain
Who's to blame for this insanity in actuality it's a democracy
But this polygamy has got me feeling animosity towards society
I'm on a balance beam my judgement clouded by the lack of clarity
There's no polarity in the bourgeoisie inequality's
What they need what they preach what they seek what they feed
What they need what they preach what they seek what they feed
Yet I am to blame cuz I'm still the same
I have not changed I still feel I'm estranged I no longer feel pain for the things that I've seen
Desensitised, is this a sign of the times?
Is this just how we live life, is this just how we survive?
By caring about no one else but ourselves by caring bout nothing else but our wealth
Neglecting the things that are good for our souls like helping the homeless people on our roads
Yes it's selfish I know yet I still can't pretend
I'm not part of the trend
I'm not part of the trend
Trend, trend, trend, trend, trend, trend, trend, trend
Who's to blame is it me is it you yes it's me and it's you
It's the people in schools it's the people who vote
It's the people who don't it's the people who feel they should just rock the boat
It's the people who feel like they can't stay afloat it's the people who pay us much less than we're owed
Much less than we're, much less than we're
The people who feel like they can't make a change the people who feel like they can't spare some change
The people who feel like they are unaffected cuz they are protected so they just defected
They don't feel any shame, being causes of pain
I guess we're both the same
We're both the same
Is it the people that think we are tools
Is it the people that think we are fools
Is it the people that use and abuse, their position of wealth
Their position of power tryna make money out of zero hours
