He Is Strong

Walkin long, just wastin time.
Lazy day, nothin to say,
mild state of mind.
From the corner it caught my eye,
the forbidden fruit.
The struggle that was inside of me,
was stronger than my youth.

What am I gonna do?
Too much is goin on.
Somebody help me please,
I can't make it on my own.
Voices from my childhood call,
mama sang a song.
Jesus is callin now,
"Son, when you're weak,

He is strong ".

There's a fork in the road up here.
I've never seen before.
Mine is narrow, the other one,
A wide open door.
The decision confronted me,
the choice was mine to make.

But blinded by the darkness
was a chance that I could not take.

What am I gonna do?
Too much is goin on.
Somebody help me please,
I can't make it on my own.
Voices from my childhood call,
Mama sang a song.
Jesus is callin now.
"Son, when you're weak,
He is strong. "
