White Privilege
White privilege, white privilege, white privilege, white privilege
White privilege, white privilege, white privilege, white privilege
It's the feeling of being safe when the cops come
It's the dealing with race not with an outcome
And speaking of race, it's being at the finish-line
When no one else on the track had even started yet
It's the feeling of being retarded and getting more job ops. than vets
White people love to clash and neglect
And gnash their teeth at anyone who happens to vent
Their frustrations at this happening that happened to them
They're happy to let you understand that privilege is nixed
"Slavery is over. Plus, civil rights exist
Your ass is fixed - eyes glued to television sets
That's where you get these half-baked notions of 'lege"
See, white people - it's not that you don't get to be right
It's that you're wrong
White privilege is real. It's in a song now
So you can dance your little honkey ass off to it
And know that white privilege is real, and we aren't free at last
At least until this goes viral, and news shows wire me
Letting me know my interview is set up to go on at 6
So be on the sets at 6:30 early morning for preps (to)
Let people know on their show about white privilege
Let's talk about it
It's the knowing you're safer when the cops come
It's the dealing with race without an outcome
White people know it exists. They aren't dumb
It's going into a liquor store without feeling a kick in your
Spine. Your mind racing when it feels like there's different
Kinds of motives and eyes on you with conspicuous design
The fine dining line removed. For you, the booth
White people know that privilege exists
They're privy to the 'lege
But what incentives exist for them to change it?
The system that they're in is swayed for them to win
What would you do if you had to choose?
Never having to have been oppressed before, would you give up your reign as king?
Give up your status and wealth so everyone could eat and be equal?
No, I did not think so. White people sit back and eat slow, relieved for
White privilege - let's talk about it
I have hope it'll change, but I really doubt it
It's the renting of houses without a renting account and a valid banking account
And an amount of money that was equal to the figure of houses
On an even better block that you were not allowed to account for
It's the getting of scholarships you didn't even apply for
Everything is "to die for" except the boy at the counter at the local supply store
Who died for excessively applied force - the die force
That was given to him by high-horsed officials
Who tickled themselves with anecdotal evidence that further spent
My tax dollars on penchants on proving their innocence
While giving them, in a sense, wilful ignorance and senseless pensions
With white privilege, white privilege, white privilege
White privilege
White privilege, white privilege, white privilege, white privilege
It's the feeling of being safe when the cops come
It's the dealing with race not with an outcome
And speaking of race, it's being at the finish-line
