Grateful Reminders

Those that brag about giving ain't givers
Those that take without asking ain't sinners
Just because you found god your no winner to me
Are you thankful because you feel helpless
Are you grateful for all of your blessings
Do you pray because you are guilty because you forgot to pray
I smile during my confrontation
Crowded places our eyes meet for a second
It's fun to see how long you can look and how much you want to see

Tears fell down they just poured out of my blue eyes down onto my legs as he walked Back to his car in the parking
Lot in the rain
He's just a stranger in a grocery store with rainbow sherbet and Ill never forget his face

Sometimes I take things for granted I'm too fast and every day am reminded
Too slow down and get stuck in traffic and just be there
We bang heads but my dad is my beside me
My younger brother is there to guide me
And my mother would love me if I were Jeffrey Dommer
My love is the man on my left
He knows that I tend to forget
That love is the stars the air the blood in my veins that keeps us alive

Tears fell down the just poured out of my blue eyes onto my legs
As the song on the radio reflected my hardest day
I'm reminded of how wonderful this life really is
And all the people that love me and remind me not to forget
