The Royal Vows

This is a moment in which our worship will last forever
As we stand before God and His priest
I vow that I will love you for worse and for better
See I can say worse first because we are going to help each other kill this flesh
And you are the one that I'm laying down my life for
So you can be the best
And of course, you are the one that I chose
So yes I forsake the rest
But I must mention
There will be times that I may be a mess
But I say that without regrets
Because you've always held this perfect catastrophe like I were picture perfect
Only seeing the perfect Creator inside of me who made the promise
That one day I will be perfect and blemish free
So I vow that we will always follow Jesus because He can keep us perfectly
I vow to never give you glory that belongs to God
God is the King of our hearts
So I vow that He will never be dethroned
I vow that you are my wife
But I will never forget to Him you belong
I vow to please and serve you as a daughter of the King
So this is not just a piece jewelry
This is a covenant ring
See Christ told me to love you like He loves the church,
And to never forget that I'm still the church
So I must submit to Him before you submit to me
In other words
These rings will show the world accountability
It is written
Aman shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife
And they shall become one flesh
So you are bone of my bone
Flesh of my flesh
I understand that all of my decisions will affect you indirectly
So I vow to do all things through Christ who strengthens me

More than words can describe
I thank God for you daily
Because you are one of my biggest blessings in this world
Standing before God today
And everyone here who loves us and cares for us
I'm vowing to serve you all the days of my life
Not before God
But as my living vessel head over my life here on earth
I vow to love you
And cherish
And honor you
I vow to respect you
And to be honest to you
And to be loyal to you
I vow to share with you in your happiness and your success
And I vow to cry with you
And be there to comfort in times of sadness and disappointment
You are my lover
You are my best friend
You are my strength when I am weak
You are my joy when I'm sad
You are my peace when I am uneasy
You are my walking bible when I need a word
You are my prayer warrior who fights for me
Never fights against me
But always with me
And always for me
I trust myself with you
I trust who I am with you
I trust where I am going with
I trust my life with you
I know that I can stand before the Lord
And He be proud of who I have chosen to submit unto
