Intro
I started off as a, as a spoken word artist
Mostly because I didn't have access to a studio
Um, I began doin' was goin' to poetry readings
And readin' my songs as if they were poems
And I developed a skill in-in-in-in doin' that
But for me there's no difference between a poem, a song
Storytellin', it's all the craft of writin'
I prefer to call myself a songwriter
Just a writer more than a rapper
Mostly because I didn't have access to a studio
Um, I began doin' was goin' to poetry readings
And readin' my songs as if they were poems
And I developed a skill in-in-in-in doin' that
But for me there's no difference between a poem, a song
Storytellin', it's all the craft of writin'
I prefer to call myself a songwriter
Just a writer more than a rapper
