Leviathan

You'll never see it coming on
You'll never watch it go
Sallow lies the break of dawn
Quiet as the snow

An army of fireflies swarm in the night
Spiral away in the cold
Spat from the mouth of the devil himself
Smoke in his silent palms

You'll never feel it growing strong
Till it's too late to be controlled
Colourful lies the setting sun
Bow to it's monstrous roar
Serpents born from cleansing light slither away in the cold
Invisible demons block out the sky
Born from the orange tongue's glow

I dream in flames, I dream in blood
I see that skeleton tree standing where the world was
I dream in gold, as bright as the sun

I see those black mountains move on the horizon
I see a great snake spitting his pitchfork tongue, scorching the earth
Till his death deal is done
I see an ocean of violence hiding the cold blooded beast
