The Speech

You tell yourself you're not good enough
That you're incapable
A weakling compared to those you surround yourself with
But you have no idea what you could do
If you just didn't play the victim
Didn't give in to your own lies
The world isn't a place you live in because it's your choice
That we can all agree
But that doesn't mean you have to accept failure as a normality
Even as your life feels pointless and daunting
Everyday is the same in some way
And you feel further away from humanity as ever
But there's still always that will for whatever reason
Instinct, if you will
Let it take hold, for instinct is the only thing that keeps us going in times of uncertainty
