Carousel

Another rider
On a crazy carousel
You're feeling dizzy
And awfully unwell
'Cause the glowing lights
Pierce your eyes until you yell

You gasp and struggle
On a crazy carousel
You want to jump off
And bid your horse farewell
But you're hanging on
For dear life, and a tale to tell

Lights blur, loudspeakers blare
Trying to pour their wisdom in your ear
But the wind it howls so loud
It helps you if you don't want to hear

You're rushing backwards
Your veins pulsate with fright
The edge of darkness
Is on your right hand side
And if the screws come loose
Then another rider flies into the night

Those who ride in front of you
You used to envy them until you found
Your horse has a head on each end
Well, maybe you're sitting the wrong way around

So will the speakers sap your will
With the foolish truths they have to tell?
Pity them - they're just machines and they were made to meddle
It's true that two and two is four
But that won't help you anymore
All you've got to do is turn around
In your saddle
In your saddle

Another rider
On a crazy carousel
The horse is yours now
And it's time to break the spell
