Sometimes you fall short
In this lifetime
So much to prove from those who watch you

I had a chance at the final shot but i couldn't take it
As the time ran out i got a little bit complacent
Just a little more time i could have hit that game winner
That's a rookie lesson for me not too bad for a beginner

Its hard to be the loyal student near all of my peers
But when you work so hard it got to pay off

I shedded off some pounds to go longer rounds with that inner me
Confident smile all around conquered my enemies

Come across some snow then shovel all that off your driveway
