Moral Victory

Sometimes you fall short
In this lifetime
So much to prove from those who watch you
Wonder if you're the truth
But even if i lose i still win
Because i dug from within

I had a chance at the final shot but i couldn't take it
As the time ran out i got a little bit complacent
Just a little more time i could have hit that game winner
That's a rookie lesson for me not too bad for a beginner
Yeah I had my doubts and i sure shared my fears
Its hard to be the loyal student near all of my peers
But when you work so hard it got to pay off
Unless your working on the job and you get laid off
Que the music all i needed was my own fanfare
For the world to feel my motivation bleeding everywhere finale time
Its me against the world, me against the world,
kinda sorta Like that old 2 Pac shirt that i wore
But i'm a show the world i'm a show the
world that opinions never mattered anymore
This time around i'm going in for the final score
If they ain't pay attention now they sure screaming out for more

Sometimes you fall short
In this lifetime
So much to prove from those who watch you
Wonder if you're the truth
But even if i lose i still win
Because i dug from within

A lot of people wonder why i never watch the news
The same reason why a winner never likes to lose
Its bittersweet sour taste and get rid of it
I'm motivated so heavy weighted they sick of it
I shedded off some pounds to go longer rounds with that inner me
Confident smile all around conquered my enemies
You win some and you lose some but
you live. you live to fight another day
So get up face all the Debo's on your Friday
Come across some snow then shovel all that off your driveway
Be strong and courageous as you wait on the Lord
Mind, body, and spirit together right on one accord
Military minded an i ain't talking Isis
A soldier on the battle field show them all what Christ is
Salute! no weapon formed against me shall prosper
God the father, the son, and holy ghost on my roster

Sometimes you fall short
In this lifetime
So much to prove from those who watch you
Wonder if you're the truth
But even if i lose i still win
Because i dug from within
