Fire

That thick swamp air grew thicker with the ash
And the muddy old waters turned gray real fast
The flames grew higher the fire had won
Smoke went skyward taking with it the sun
Women and children they continued to scream
And the fathers and sons kept emptying the stream
Women and children they continued to scream

That thick black smoke blew down to New Orleans

After each home the boats all caught
In no time at all everyone went up

Flame broiled skin has a special smell
In a foggy old swamp, it'll travel well
And those dragons came ready for a feast
A tried and true example not to fuck with the beast
