A Told Excuse
Split my head fine cut by friends missile rock meant for express train
I dropped I took a snooze but that
can't excuse what has been since clot
I was sprouting fast with an awful shot, I
I was bullied I, bullied for the chain,
all I wanted was smoke and trainers gain
Shaved my head, I defaced my soft profile, Information cut
Too much my mind shut, I
I can do anything anything I want to, I can do anything I want to
And not try all that hard and get what I deserve
Because I'm English, because I'm White
So I deserve it all yeah I deserve it all
Four boys kicked me in, for my phone with beats
CVs scattered cross the Sunday noon high street
No one flinched no one uttered protest shout
My face exploded oh my wasted rainbow face, I
Tried to be a spark without my father's mind
I got fat I took what ever job I'd find
Tried to find a love on night excursions dark
Birthday passed by though each less candles flashed, I
I can do anything anything I want to, I can do anything I want to
And not try all that hard and get what I deserve
Because I'm English, because I'm White
So I deserve it all yeah I deserve it all
From that episode there's my told excuse
Whilst I wag my tail at other's muddy trail
Some got kids and wives, some just went and died
Some have got it all and sniff away their lives,
Some went packed their bags,
Some sit local stops, some work discount shops
Others in tower blocks
Some claim artistry and sleep away their lives
So I shan't be spared the spitting circus knives
I dropped I took a snooze but that
can't excuse what has been since clot
I was sprouting fast with an awful shot, I
I was bullied I, bullied for the chain,
all I wanted was smoke and trainers gain
Shaved my head, I defaced my soft profile, Information cut
Too much my mind shut, I
