A Harrow Spell

Pins and stencils
All go in a pot to keep
Tiny worms
Picked out from your ears

Living on a patch of hail
Whilst scratching at the choking grass

Pushing, crushing
Crumbling from a muddy trip
Painful baggage
Dripping from a horror shower and

Living on a patch of hail
Whilst scratching at the choking grass

We didn't want to open our mouths to see if we could still breathe
But we did, and it was inevitable
We started gently lifting off away, from the surface as the vacuum took us
Becoming further pressured, ice cold, with our arms around each other, eyes closed
We frozen together in space
I woke up

A harrow spell
The tender love of peaceful owls
The starting ticks
While I sit idly by

And fall out of this world
And fall out of this world
