Vicious Cycle

I see a society in its death throes
that's close to hitting rock bottom.
Too many people treated like things
tossed in the lost and forgotten.

From winter to autumn
the city's like Gotham
but without a Batman and Robin,
stick up kids and corrupt cops robbing.
Gun shots firing,
I can hear the sound of the police sirens.
No stopping the 44 popping,
cus there's profit
to make of these bodies dropping,
mafiosos grinning,
mothers sobbing
generals get medals,
mothers get death letters,
this weather ain't getting no better, no.

Spinning, spinning in a vicious cycle.
Falling, falling in a downward spiral.
Spinning, spinning in a vicious cycle.
Falling, falling in a downward spiral.
Spinning, spinning in a vicious cycle.
Falling, falling in a downward spiral.
Falling ... again.
Spinning, spinning in a vicious cycle.
Falling, falling in a downward spiral.
Spinning, spinning in a vicious cycle.
Falling, falling in a downward spiral.
Spinning, spinning in a vicious cycle.
Falling, falling in a downward spiral.
Falling ... again.

We the people, one specie,
mankind we are equal.
but this concept is destroyed
by those cruel and deceitful,
that just feed their own ego, ego, ego.

The kind that treat indigents unequal
and illegal residents like resident evil.
That pit people against each other.
Why fight when we can so easily be brothers?
And sisters, I blame the presidents and the ministers
that allow the unraveling of sinister plots
of those who really call the shots,
the unseen beings behind the scenes
that control the strings and the things
y'all see on y'all television screens.

Falling ... again.

I see polluted skies destruction and demise
caused by diluted minds, I'm not surprised,
most don't care for values only the price.

You don't got to be the wisest
to realizelife is priceless,
vices and devices won't suffice us,
lies are disguised to sustain this zeitgeist,
with laser sights and satellites
big brother surveilling.
For peace, I'm hoping
but it's all looking rather dystopic
like nineteen eighty-four,
every day is more worst
than the one that came before, oh no!

Falling ... again.
