They try to re-invent themselves as the party of the future not the past
Complaining about the mess we're in, as if it's not to do with them
Do they expect us to forget things quite so fast?
It's as if they think that we've all had our memories erased
Or is it some of them that's had that done?
Some try to apologise, others just tell downright lies
And some of them are just plain fucking dumb
Like a phoenix from the ashes
They ascend with a new plan with which to make amends
They replace the leader, and then think we won't recognise them
Slimy, two-faced careerists - don't you just despise them?
They tell us that they've learnt from mistakes of the past
Well, why don't we, the public, do the same?
The problems that we're facing haven't grown up overnight
And it's this same bunch of arseholes that's to blame
