February 28th

I looked across the room at her and she was standing there so normally
But something caught my eye and to this day I can't explain what I had seen
She looked different somehow, but I couldn't put my finger on it, but I liked it
It was quite a sight to see

It was cold outside, a winter Sunday, the sun felt good but it was hanging low
I took my camera and my jacket and walked outside with you all to the car
We went and got some drinks, drove on, and talked about our lives
And it was beautiful, in every way
I've never felt anything like it

And I would run around the world just to feel how I did on that sweet day
Oh god I miss it so
Oh god it hurts so bad

We went and hung out at the park and took some pictures of each other there
We stayed until it got dark, then went home, I wish it could've lasted longer
I never looked at her the same, something had changed the way I saw her
And I looked into her eyes and fell asleep

And I would run around the world just to feel how I did on that sweet day
Oh god I miss it so
Oh god it hurts so bad
And I would run around the world just to feel how I did on that sweet day
Oh god I miss it so
Oh god it hurts so bad
