Little Boy

Just an ordinary day
Little boy is on his way
Runs for hours to survive
Like a fugitive for life
While the daily routine of
Little girl was quite enough
Having friends to talk about
Having dreams to leave behind
But in her heart she feels the same
With all the load and all his pain
In the woods where boy did hide
Suddenly a shot rang out
Like a quiver 'cross the land
Everywhere it could be sensed
TV 's on and girl could see
How a little boy was found
Wiped the dirt out of his eyes
To find out that he had died
And girl was crying, crying loud
But her tears couldn't ease the pain inside
For the first time she could see
Touched by all the misery
Girl stop mourning over me
Over here one's life is free
In my mind and in my head
I was al-ready dead
Girl was crying, crying loud
But her tears couldn't ease the pain inside
For the first time she could see
Touched by all the misery
