Back Into My Life

They say you hit the ground on the runnin'
You hit the dirt again and let it slide
We're standing on some dirt, it's shakin'
I'm gonna stir it up and do it right
Right

Well lots of things
Well, they just don't work out
And lots of people, will never find true love
And sometimes I just want some peace and quiet
I must resume my scientific diet
But I want to get back, back into my life
And I want my feelings back, back in my life

I coined a term today
It's "mental magic"
I whip it out sometimes and let it spin around
And when the shows have been played
And when the boys have been laid
A mental magician, a little clown
Right

Well lots of things, will never be quite the same
And millions of people will never remember my name
But I want to get back, back into my life
And I want my feelings back, back in my life
And I don't want to die, I want to keep living
And I want to feel good, good about my life
All the time

I coined a term today
It's "mental magic"
