Do You Recall?

Do you recall the old world, when all the trees were small?
Me neither, but i know
It's the feeling in my bones

In the pages of a book, in the way the mountains look
Autumn wind against my skin
The blood that chugs within

I feel the lightning bolt, crack and jolt the skin and soil.
I hear the lion roar, makes my eardrums sore but the beat won't foil.
I know nothing at all.

Do you recall the night watch owl?
How the moon coyote howl?
Crying out for eternity, sometimes i feel like I'll never leave
And the leaves crawl across the road
Searching for somewhere to go
Cause they've lost their families and we know that isn't easy

I feel the lightning bolt, crack and jolt the skin and soil.
I hear the lion roar, makes my eardrums sore but the beat won't foil.
I know nothing at all

Do you recall the old world?
When all the trees were small?
When all of us humans were
Nothing at all
